Southwestern Excursion
Happy Fathers Day! On Fathers Day we headed on to Tulsa. It was a 5 1/2 hr drive. On the way we stopped off at Dickey's Barbecue for lunch. Golden Driller When we pulled into Tulsa we found the Golden Driller. It was interesting to see, but didn't take long. Blue Whale Next up was the Blue Whale. This was off Route 66. It was built in the 1970's by a man for his wife on their 37th wedding anniversary. It was a swimming hole until 1988. Today you could walk around, but I do wish they still let people swim. It looks like it was a cute place. Incredible Pizza Company Next up, we went to the Incredible Pizza Company. It was voted as the #1 Family Entertainment Center in the world, twice! We had to check it out. All you can eat pizza buffet with indoor roller coaster, games, laser tag, bumper cars, bowling, go karts and more. When we got there we only had two hours until closing. We got the package with all the games & rides. Then we closed the place down. Good times! We then drove to Oklahoma City & stayed at another Holiday Inn Express for the night. It was nice, we had a suite with a sleeper couch so no one had to use the sleeping bag/pad.

D It was fun. I liked the laser tag. It was neat seeing you all scrunched down shooting us.
Lori How did you find these places?
