I have finally put my postcard up!! Yey! I also sent a what I thought of the whole trip in the postcard section so imagine my surprise and embarrassment (seeing as Id even included a lovely photo of myself on it!! Blush* ) that Emlyn and Ant had put it on the message board! Oh well! Guys, just click on Venezuela and then Isla de Margarita before reading The End, Wirral, UK
Since we are being sloppy and sweet about each other, Id better contribute : )
Boys, thank you so much for the most amazing adventure. You are both amazing people, who I have learnt lots from. Thank you both for all the laughs and the whole experience: and Emlyn thanks for driving for hours on end whilst me and Ant took turns kipping in the back! Im pleased to say I can now officially claim Ive survived 3 and a half months with who you like to call yourselves The famous Emlyn Burton and Anthony Sinclair Ill be saying it until my death bed Back in the days*false teeth clattering* Emlyn and Ant. Sighs* And my wonderful new nickname(!) Youll be please to know that my infamous shorts are now at the bottom of my wardrobe, didnt have the heart to throw them out!
From this day forward every time I get a whiff of smelly feet I will be fondly transported back in time to be reminded of Ant, every time I see long-haired long-bearded tramp Id be affectionately reminded of Emlyn.
I cant believe its the end, I have only just broken the habit of thinking Where have the boys gone when I wake up first thing! Completely forgetting that wed come home for a few seconds until it hits me, Doh youre back home, girl!.
To all those who have posted messages and followed our journey, postcards and photos thank you for keeping this website alive, sending us news of home and travel advice, Its made us feel a little less far away!
Better sign off now and leave you to read the postcards: look forward to seeing you all soon. B xxxx

*sob sob sob sob*!!!! Now back in Sheffield! it has been really so weird, being back to reality! It felt so strange, as i was so used to have people staring at me in S. America, but out here, i felt non-existant! And when opening up my bag full of clothes that i left behind before going travelling, i couldnt believe the many choice i had! anyway, i just posted up some pictures of our last week in Venezuela, and Bree should post up a postcard very soon!
South America, well, i couldnt agree less with Anthony, he has said it all. It is the best continent i have ever travelled on, offering unbelievably different landscapes, view, culture, weather, etc etc! Three months is a bit to short to travel the whole continent, but i want to thank Bree and Anthony to keep the clan motivated and keep going on, moving from a place to another to achieve our biggest ambition of travelling the whole continent by land only in just three months, to beat our "critics" saying that it is IMPOSSIBLE.
Guess i gotta say something abt my travel partners here! My darling German girl (with her ugly grey short, and huge hard shoes and white skin! :-) ), u have been an amazing traveller partner, and have surprised me in many ways! U were able to travel like a true man, walking great distances in the Inca Trail, doing the extreme activities, going for a macdonalds meal almost everyday (cannot think of another girl that would!), drinking up to the max, and the list goes on and on! The debates we often had, will be unforgettable, and i am happy to say i often had won them debates, no?! :-)
Ant, well, well, it is not often i go on to say summat nice abt ya, and am finding it so difficult now! Even though we both had many many serious arguments, we always end of becoming friends again after a short while, eh! (CJ, bet u can imagine them arguments we had!) u have been the best traveller partner i have had. Since that first travel in Europe a couple of years ago, u have really flourished to become an independent backpacker! I know u will not be able to travel next summer or so, but i hope u will be able to achieve ur biggest dream, of travelling the whole of United States one day, and that i will be there along with ya! (why am i getting sentimental when i have had enough of ya, and that i've got another whole year in Sheffield this year with ya!!)
Lastly, i want to thank everyone that have been keeping up with this website, posting up messages that made us laugh so often! u all have been brilliant spectators! I hope this website has inspired many of u to go travelling next summer or so! Read these words, i totally totally recommend anyone to travel while they are young, it will be an amazing experience, that u wouldnt forget it at all. it is truly wicked to see different places from another side of the world, and meeting up with other backpackers and local people! Money spent there are TOTTTTTAAAALLLLLYYYYY worth it, and if u dont spend it for travelling, u will spend it on "silly" things, like being stuck in London all summer spending ur dosh on tube, food, booze, cigarettes, blah blah, when u could be spending that dosh in another continent!
Cheerios! Now, back to reality at uni!! take care u all, and look forward to see ya all soon!

Hey everyone, feel funny that Im back at home after 3 months travelling in South America. I feel very sad that its actually ending but I have future plans for another adventure for definite. What can I say about our adventure; well we such had a fantastic time with so many experiences. Los Llanos, Cotopaxi Volcano, Banus, Nazca, the Inca Trail, Bungee jump, Lake Titicaca, riding bikes on the Worlds most dangerous road, Amazon, Salt Lake, Skiing, Lake District, Patagonia (El Calafate), and Iguazu Falls were all highlights of South America for me. Each country is completely different with their own culture, the view of Andes Mountain, people, food, etc... There is everything that I could ask for with so many activities. German girl, for those people who wondering who it is, its BREE! I will never forget our very first day. I couldnt stop keeping on eye on you every 10 seconds! Emlyn and I could tell a big difference in your experience between the beginning and the end of our travel. You have inspired me totally because you are one of the few girls that I could imagine being determined, fearless, and up for anything, especially on the Inca Trail. Emlyn Burton........ too stubborn and wont accept that he has lost a debate! You are the worst person in the WHOLE world that I hate to wake you up, sooo miserable. What are the good things about you?! Big thanks for driving (car) most of the time and also letting me drive to make me feel that I am a man! You obviously have many experiences that us two look up to with your confident ability to communicate with South American people and up for ANYTHING! Thanks for the company and Im sure I will never forget our memories. South America is not my first time travelling - I've been to Europe and North Africa, and they all are VERY different experiences. In South America, we travelled right from the top to the very bottom and from one side to the other side (apart from Rio+Salvador) which made me feel extremely proud of myself. I want to say many thanks to Roger and Julie for letting me off tennis and giving me such a great opportunity to travel in the best continent that Ive been to. Thank you to EVERY single one of you for reading and putting messages on our superb website; its been a great way to keep in touch with people and to share our experiences with you all. I really, really enjoyed it and it was such an unbelievable experience. And for my last sentence on our website, as far as travelling goes, South America is simply the best in the world. Antx

This is probably my first message put on the board, and since I have been so busy all the summer doing my thing back here in UK!
It's amazing to see all the pictures of the trip, and some of them had got me laughing, especially of Emlyn's driving, crashing into the snow (no suprises there eh!) and I am getting bit concern about Emlyn's weight, as it seem like that he caused the car to sink in the sand!!!! Seem like a great experience for you all down there, and I am glad to say that you have survived, to tell the tale!!!
Bree, the whole Liverpool is gearing up for your welcome back home! drop me an email or text, and we'll go out for a drink or two with John, so we can sit back and listen to your waffling, while munching on some burgers and chips!!!
Prob see perhaps all you 3 at GB champs ball next sat? And once again, thanks for keeping us in the frame with your trips, I wonder what have you got planned up your sleeves for next time?!
Safe flight home all of you!
Ole

As you can see, our journey in the Far East has come to an end! Travelling all summer has been a fantastic experience, I'm sure you'll think the same about your travels! The thought of going back to uni, and no longer being a freespirit-not nice is it? :-) Look forward to seeing your ugly mugs back in the UK, (well I'm not sure about that Embles and Ant, living with you!) and to swapping stories!
Til then, lots of love Jessica xxx

Hey guys! How are u enjoying the last couple of days of ur travels?! Making the most of it i bet! We've arrived at Manchester yesterday and of course we took advantage of Emirates free booze (who wouldnt?!) and once we arrived and saw Jess's mam, i just felt so emotional and massive whollop that we were back in reality, i could not help but have a lil cry! I sooooo definitely want to go travelling again- best summer of my life and i bet it was for u guys too! Manchester sure did look so gloomy compared to other countries but it was brilliant meeting up with friends and family at the same day catching up with stories- that is the best part of coming home. I mean, we all have to come home some day! Gawd, will stop wafflin here, and keep it all for when u come home! :-). We have shops to visit (thats to Bree!) and pubs to liven up! til then till next week when u all can suffer England with us! xxxx
