We started the day with a failed Subte attempt. Our line was limited (one every 30 minutes instead of 2)m and every train that passed was packed, so we gave up and ended up walking. We had planned to catch the free walking tour, but since our line was delayed and we chose to walk instead of wait an hour, we missed the tour. Today was such a nothing day. The Art Factory Hostel had no room for us when we tried to extend our booking, so we were forced to find another hostel if we wanted to continue our stay in Buenos Aires. And we did. A couple of metro stops away was a hostel called Reina Madre, a very small hostel in a weird crossover zone of Buenos Aires and Recoleta. After breakfast, we took the Subte to Cathedral and walked the rest of the way to the port in Puerto Madero.
