In seven days I have had an alergic reaction to some random Brazilian fish, climbed another mountain, swam in a waterfall, been on a 4X4 jeep tour, learnt how to make Caipirinhas (Brazil´s national cocktail), had my bank card cloned, been on a twenty hour coach journey, been to the second largest city in the world, been to the worlds wei...

So I promised to keep you all posted on my whereabouts/goings on/adventures throughtout my travels so here we are, my first blog entry...feel free to stop reading at any point (not that you need telling) as I always find these things boring/way too long and waffly. Heya Everyone, Just a quickie to let you all know I'm ok :-). After a lovely 11 and 1/2 hour flight and a 40 min taxi ride we arrived at the Rio Backpackers Hostel in Copacabana at 23:00 local time (01:00 UK time). Hostel is ok, free wifi (always a bonus), which I'm using now :-), but it's on the most hilariously steep hill I've ever seen...the taxi couldn't drive up it!!
