On arriving back in Kuala Lumper we got the bus from the airportback to Pondok lodge. The bus dropped us off at the bottom of the road so we collected our backpacks and back etc and loaded ourselves up with nearly 30kilos of weight, we made our way down to the side of the road ready to cross. Much to Rachel's amusement I slipped down a slope leading to the road and ended up on the floor splitting my difference! I steadied myself and went to pick myself up but this caused my flip flops to slide even further apart, at this point a little taxi driver came over to try and assist, I say try to assist but he efforts were useless unfortunatly as the more he tried to pic up me and all my bags which were attatched to me the more I slid down that poxy bloody slope splitting more of my difference. The taxi driver gave up and stood back so it was at this point I felt it appropriate to just give up and finally collapsed in a heap, floundered around for a bit and had to take all my bags off before successfully getting up. Having composed myself I put my luggage back on my back and scurried off to the Lodge to hide as it felt like the whole of Kuala Lumpur was watching me roll about on the floor for what felt like an eterinty.

The next day we applied for our visas for Vietnam and booked the bus to go to Langkawi and Island on the west coast of Malaysia for a few days whilst we wait for our visas to be processed.
