Hi everyone! Erin here :-) Sorry for the long delay in updating the blog...I have had a very hectic time of late and I doubt Sophie has even been able to get to a computer! Our last stop in Australia was Perth, where we were met at the airport by Sophie's Aussie friend Nick, who very kindly let us stay at his house...another palace and certainly the sort of place we weren't used to as it was so nice! We spent the first couple of days with Nick and his girlfriend Sarah, visiting Cottesloe Beach to soak up some rays! We explored the city when we arrived (which didn't take very long :-) and spent the first night at a concert that had been put on for the locals. Now it was onto our last place on the East Coast, Cairns -very sad. Here was stayed at the party hostel, Gilligans, where we shared a room with soem really nice girls. The first night we all went to the Woolshed for a bargain dinner ($10) for a meal, drink and pudding and spent the rest of night drinking and dancing on the tables.
