Well we arrived a day later to meet the girls in Vegas after they had had an eventful time trying to check in under my name.

Vegas certainly lived up to the great expectations and we all loved it. Our fav hotels were Bellagio, Venician shortly followed by Hooters!! Nath now we know why you and your mates keep wanting to go back to Vegas year after year!!

Second day there we all headed for one hell of a coach journey to the Grand Canyon but it was well worth the 14 hours. Stunning sight and the snow topped it off. Def a must see.

Had a comedy moment when our coach got stuck in the snow. Our 20 stone coach driver then proceeded get his 'spatula' shovel out of the boot and tried clearing snow. He even moved a 4x4 with his bare hands and with the help of some local hillbillies.

NYE 2009 - Was originally heading to freemont st to celebrate until bro recommended we hit the strip, great advice, we had the best new year ever. We also met up with Jess and her sister (Jo's mates) so all 8 of us were classy chicks with our harry potter style 'cone head' new year hats and our very own water bottle filled with home made concoctions, hey after all we are all on a budget and it did the trick.

Final night in sin city we headed for Coyote Ugly bar where we got free shots for dancing on the stage, then decided we couldnt leave vegas without gambling, Jo did well and walked away 80$ up, but the rest of us are far from experts and didnt have a clue what the hell we were doing but still had a great laugh. Then we got VIP tickets to LAX club in the Luxor, well what a night. We were then escorted to a VIP area where there were blokes that insisted on repeatedly telling us they were professional american footballers, i wasnt convinced. Club was impressive but we were slightly underdressed! Journey back from club was eventful, we got flashed by some young girl!!!

Overall we had a great time in Vegas and would def go back.

Off to San Diego next.......
