From Vegas we sadly had to say goodbye to Dawn, Jess, Jodeen and my great travel buddy Jo. We hired a car and made the long journey to San Diego. Sue had the pleasure of driving for 5 hours and it was a bit hair raising. But when we finally arrived it was well worth the trip.

The hostel is great fun and the best thing of all they provide free dinners and dessert!;)

On the first day we walked down to the Marina and seaport village, in the lovely sunshine, although its not quite the 30 degrees i was used to but cant complain as hear its -10 back home.

Yesterday we went to the Zoo, which we all enjoyed and saw elephants, gorgeous pandas, tigers, pollar bears and many more. Today, our last day here, we went to Balboa Park, which was lovely and went on a guided tour of the park but quickly departed when he started banging on about the history of every bloody tree in the park. we then went onto something more our scene.....Pacific Beach.

Tomorrow we set to LA, will report more when we get there. Im going to attempt the drive, so here goes, the girls are in for a treat! ;)
