Wednesday 9th January

The day to check out to catch the bus to our next stop, Mission Beach. We weren't happy as the weather was beautiful with clear and blue sky! We wished that it was like that for yesterday's snorkelling. Oh well, we can't control the weather!

Before we made our way to the Greyhound Bus Terminal, We stopped by to use the internet that was given to us for free by the travel agency.

Then we dragged ourselves to the waiting room as we were very early so we just waited around, playing games on our laptop!
The coach was on time and we finally arrived to Mission Beach at about 3.15pm. We didn't have to walk very far for our hostel which was a good thing. It was very humid and hot!

Our hostel was welcoming and friendly, showed us around and our room. It was decent. We then decided to walk around and then to the nearest beach called Wongaling Beach. On our way to the beach, we saw a couple of girls watching something so we decided to see what they were looking at. It was a wild wallaby! We couldn't see it very well as it was getting dark and it was in the distance.

Once we got to the beach, unfortunately due to the recent thunderstorms they had, there were plenty of mess from trees and the sea!

We then returned back to the hostel as it was getting dark and we couldn't see our way! We noticed that there were plenty of wildlifes coming out in the evening, such as toads, frogs, crickets, lizards, too many insects to list down. It was very noisy as the green tree frog was making too much noises!

We decided to have a early night so we went to bed.
