Saturday 15th March

We took our time to get up as we didn't have much planned today. We went straight to the travel agent where we had free internet access to use up. After a hour went by, we started to look for the famous street that are full of shops, similar to Oxford Street in London. Once we found it, we were quite disappointed with it as most were cafes/restaurants!! We were walking around for ages, trying to find decent shops for Daniel to purchase shoes. We ended up into Hyde Park and thought we could have our lunch there. Unfortunately for Lisa, she was bursting for toliet so we had to look for one! We finally found one in the mall which we looked around afterwards. Still had no luck! Daniel was getting annoyed with it as he needed shoes to wear for tomorrow. Eventually a hour later, we finally found a pair that Daniel liked but it was costly so Lisa decided to purchase it for his birthday which he was happy about. His complete set of clothes were all purchased as birthday presents!

We returned back to the hostel for our tea before leaving again for the supermarket to search for the birthday cake for Daniel's tomorrow. To our surprise, they don't even sell birthday cakes!! So tomorrow, we will be purchasing a simple cake and with some luck, they will be in the sale to save us money!

Tomorrow, we are planning to visit the famous Bondi Beach for a day and then a evening meal out to treat for Daniel's birthday, hopefully with harbour bridge/opera house views. It would be our first time to have a meal out in months since we did in New York!!
