Sept 11th Tuesday

We had our first cuppa of tea!! Ahhhh, thanks god, we both have been missing our typical british tea! :)

Adaire have planned to take us to the Lake to do a spot of fishing.

Before we left the house, Adaire kindly did bit of searching for the best way for us to do bit of exploring few places and getting across to Los Angeles. She found the Amtrak train tickets where we can hop on and off wherever we want on the route to LA within 30days. It was a good price so we will get the tickets tomorrow.

Now, it was our first time to do the fishing. The lake was peaceful and relaxing. We were the only ones there so we had fun with the paddling boat, exploring around the Lake.

As we were preparing the boat, Daniel and Adaire found 2 small snakes (Mother and a baby) hidden under, and of course Lisa kept away as she was scared of it!

Adaire gave us a quick lesson on fishing, though she did all the dirty work such as putting the worms on the hooks. It didn't take long to get the hang of it.

It was a very long wait to catch any fishes, eventually we managed to catch 5 fishes between us! After few hours, we decided that we had enough and returned back to the land.

Returned to the house, ready for the supper which was Pot Roast. VEGETABLES!!! We missed eating vegs! hehe :) It was lovely.

This evening, we just been chilling out, playing with pets, updating this blog and watching bit of tv.
