Wednesday Sept 12th

Adaire drove us to Normal Bloomington to get our Amtrak rail pass where we can hop on and off any time as long as we travel westbound. Unfortunately we left our passports behind as we didn't realise that we would need it to purchase the tickets.

Before we came home to collect our passports and back to Bloomington again in the afternoon, Adaire showed us where Daniel's dad works when he is in Chicago. We met Hans, the manager of kongskilde in Chicago. He gave us a tour around of Kongskilde.

Once again in the afternoon, we were back to the Amtrak Station. Unfortunately for us, we had a different staff behind the counter who doesn't seem to know what we were asking for! Eventually after a long while, we finally got our rail passes and made our reservations to Dallas, Texas for Sunday.

Now we don't have to worry about spending alot of money on transports in USA :)

In the evening after having yummy pizza, Adaire's husband, Joshua took us around to see what Pontiac is like before ending up in Dairy Queen for ice creams! We couldn't eat all of it up so we took it home and saved it in the freezer for later!
