Tuesday 9th October

Was a struggle to get up in the morning as we haven't had a lie in for a long while! We finally had breakfast at 9.30am! Didn't really leave our room till about 11am after discussing where to go and planning our day. We decided to visit Beverly Hills.

We finally arrived there just after 12noon! Half of the day was already gone! We wandered around seeing all the expensive shops on Rodeo Drive. Apparently its the street where all the celebrities shop but unfortunately we didn't see any. There were different kinds of designer shops such as Gucci, Versace, Cartier, Bebe, Victoria's secrets. We also saw alot of expensive cars with black tinted windows, so who knows? They could be celebrities!

After a hour walking around, we decided to search for the sightseeing tour bus where you can hop on and off at any point of interests. Unfortunately we couldn't find any so we gave up and searched for the supermarket to do our food shopping. We found a 99cent store, abit like poundland! Saved few dollars for us! Spent 8 pounds worth for 3 or 4 days, not bad eh?!

We caught a bus back to Hollywood Blvd to visit the chinese theatre where they had hands/feet prints of celebrities as well as walk of fame. We did see loads but only took photos of the ones we like :)

Lisa was amazed with the size of Tom Cruise's hands/feet cos they were bigger than what she expected, especially with his short height!

After looking around for 15 mins, we got on the bus again to go back to our hostel. While we were waiting, we were getting our exact fares ready before the bus arrives. Unfortunately, Daniel dropped one coin which landed onto the road. The bus was approaching and we were hoping that the bus wouldn't go over the coin cos we needed it to pay the exact fares! To our amazement, the bus just stopped next to the coin!! He went and collected it before we boarded on the bus. Back at the hostel to do bit of cooking which was Pasta and vegs. See mums, we made sure that we are eating plenty of vegs and fruits!!

Now at this minute, we are currently updating our blog. We haven't been able to update it in the past week due to the lack of the internet! After this, we will be discussing where to go tomorrow.
