Hi all, this is just a quick one as computers are crap in airlie!

Glad i left bundy on saturday but sad to say goodbye to christina my nerdy (she admits to being a nerd) friend. She has a great sense of humour and without her, i wouldn't have lasted in bundy as long as I did. I won't miss the german girl in my room after she brought a swedish boy back to our room on saturday - I won't go into detail but let's just say they needed to get a room! I did feel kind of sorry for the german girl becasue she got beaten up on the billy goat's gruff bridge (the one linking the hostel with town). Some aboriginal girl started smacking her in the face for no reason!!

I checked out on sunday morning but the weirdo receptionist charged me an extra 10 dollars for using the facilities all day - which im sure went straight into his pocket grrrr! I managed to save on taxi money as the scottish guy gave me a lift to the bus station. On the bus, there was the usual funa and games with the porky driver. I have seen him and his delightful charm before, and I really could have done without seeing it again. He wouldn't let me sit on the empty seats at the front (even though noone sat there the whole time). Luckily a nice girl from england let me sit next to her and we chatted all light which was good. The driver was so miserable and annoying the whole 11 hours on the journey!! We werent allowed food, we werent allowed to talk, we werent allowed to walk about in bare feet - you name it, we werent allowed to do it!!

I checked into a hostel in town and slept for 5 hours. The hostel dorms are in the form of huts with 8 beds. They were pretty stinky and full of noisy 18 year olds. One particular 18 year old girl was extremely annoying and I found it hard not to tell her to shut up. It rained all day so i was in close proximety to her the WHOLE day! Thank god for the second hand book store that's all I can say.

I moved hostels again yesterday to a hostel away up on the hill. It was nicer and quiter up there and I moved into a room with 2 scottish girls and an english woman. The cleaning lady was slightly bugging - I dont know how many times she was yelling at people to lift the shower mats up after having a shower, it sounded like every 5 minutes!! Me and my roomates stayed up chatting all night which was good as I hadn't talked to anyone for a while!

Today i movedhostels again and hopefully it will be the last time until i go sailing at the weekend. I cant wait to go sailing!!! Also, My friend sholah is coming up on monday so I will have someone to chat with for a night which will be good. Im then going to head to magnetic island to see if i can find wayne.

Just 3 more days of boredom in airlie to go - woop woop!
