hi all,

Still in mission beach!  yesterday me, nicole and trisha (the girls i met the other day)went to the beach (over-rated) and nearly got flattened by lots of skydivers landing on the beach!!  We decided to head back to the hostel pool to hang out which was probably wise.  Didn't like all the beasts that were attacking me though - lots more beasts up in this region.

Last night we went out with the rest of the hostel to the 'local'.  It was full to the brim with Bogans (which are like UK Neds).  Within an hour of getting there, there was a big punch up and we were all keen to leave!  Went back to the hostel and some of the bogans tried to hang out with us by the pool and were trying to fight the night guard at the hostel, I wasnt impressed! Stayed up talking until 5am, then wide awake at 7am (think ive still got bundaberg disease). Everyone else is asleep, so think i'll go and hang out with the poodle (miss beefy) for a while.

 I moved my flight forward a week as i asked around a few agencies yesterday to get some advice about work in cairns and the verdict wasn't good so I have gone with my instinct.  Leave cairns on thursday.  Going to go up to cape tribulation for a few days trekking before i leave.  Apparently its going to pee down though so that should be interesting!
