Got a loud knock at the door at 5.30am from Mahmoud at the Dahab Hostal. I forgot i had asked for a wake up call and was a bit of a shock when i heard the knock and dont know whether he was more asleep or me! Headed to the Ramses train station to buy my ticket to Aswan today. Walked to the metro and was really suprised to find the metro very clean and modern. I felt very safe on the metro and it was great as the carriages in the middle are only for women. I chatted to the women as they were surprised to see a western girl travelling on the metro. Had an early breakfast as set off at 8am for pyramid trip. Gail and Tim came on the pyramid trip which was good as we split the cost of the driver.
