I love Bangkok for one reason...massages!  We've had a foot massage for 120B (approx. £2.50); you lie back in a beach chair at the road side so you can people watch. As you may have anticipated, David's size 14 feet did get commented on. We've also had one of the most up-close-and-personal massages I have ever had: an oil massage. It was 300B (approx. £6), they give you a disposable pair of black undies to change in to (apparently the same size for girls and boys, according to a slightly sheepish David) and then proceed to rub you ALL over...yes ladies, every inch of exposed skin (bar pink bits to my relief). Now for those of you more vertically challenged (or 'normal') people, your massage should go without pause or comment. I on the other hand (and apparently David had a similar experience) found that the tiny Thai girl, currently sitting on my bottom, couldn't quite stretch far enough to run her hands from my waist to shoulders.....so had to shimmy further up. I giggled and said that I was 'long'. She agreed. Lots. And then proceeded to slap my ass and say 'and big' ... Then laughed! Well, what could I do but giggle and agree? (she did placate me, somewhat, by pointing out that I had a small waist and therefore my big bum was sexy, lol).
