Final day today here in cairns.... :( finished off packing did the washing and last bits of buying done.... Not to mention a nice bit of tanning in!!! Spent the evening with beer and pizzas celebrating Laura's birthday and our leaving....! Booked out hong kong accommodation and did the final clean up and sort.... An early day tomorrow to begin travelling again.... I'm excited to start travelling down to see all the cool places.... But not so excited to live out ...

An early start this morning but for a very exciting day!! It's uncle Brian's water falls day trip! I've heard nothing but great things about this trip... So have very high expectations!!!! First stop was babinda... Jumped straight into the cold water.... You would all be so proud of me... You know my thoughts on being in cold water!! Stopped off for a picture with a golden gumboots.... Babinda is awarded it for having most rainfall in region.... Then it was of...

Frankland islands cancelled!! Total rubbish.... But were off to green island instead. Green island is a sand island created by the tides gathering sand and coral into a mound.... Then bird poop creating a rainforest!!! A cheeky bit of snorkelling.... Saw loads of different stuff... Less pretty fish but saw some reef sharks,stingrays, swordfish looking things......... Best of all..... I swam with a turtle...! It was huge!!!! This has made my trip!! Spent the day ...

Today was beach day!! Yay! Took the bus upto palm cove and just layed in the sunshine reading sunbathing and generally relaxing!! Fabulous! Then it was home to get ready for Laura's birthday.... Dressed up smart and went to a balinese restaurant and had the fish of the day... I had some reef fish wrapped in banana skins! Delish.... A quiet drink in pjs which was a complete knocking shop this evening.... I have never seen it like that before do it was quite a shoc...

So the sun was shining and we decided that we were infact going to do an "afternoon" today..... Sunbathing and chilling til 11.30... Where I was approached by a man carrying his belongings in a plastic bag...(insert international sign for a bit mental) who told me I had nice hair and commented on my sunbathing with the odd random comment about the uk government then he was off....
