Arrived at our hotel after paying 450 baht each from tour company , we then realised if we'd gone to the bus station ourselfs we would have only paid 80 baht each (less than £2 instead of £9 each) The hotel is called Motive hotel and it's fantastic ,fab rooms with pool across from the night market where the food is cheaper than I've ever seen 10-20 baht for chicken or pork or fish on a stick we ate the lot and it's absolutely fantastic.Khao Lak was hit real bad By the Sunami but they've pulled together and moved on , Hotel is 2 mins walk from the Sunami memorial so will go and pay our respects tomorrow.This place is exciting it reminds me of the real Thailand from years ago .Woke up today after drinking cheap White Spirit OMG it tastes between Thai Whisky,Rum,and Petrol lol . There's loads of small eateries and everyone is so nice , I think I've found my place on earth Khao Lak !!!!!.Spent the day at White Sands Beach it is Stunning Pure white sand not very busy and deep blue sea,the restaurants around it are fab not too many tables.The whole area has a very laid back attitude , just how i remember Thailand 15 years ago, so today we took it easy and pampard ourselfs with manicures,pedicures & foot scrubs , s*** man you should see the skin off Jason's feet , even the Thai girl kept saying ooooh mr big job ya big job took her nearly an hour lol.all for 200 baht (£4).So now we're having a few proper vodkas on the balcony before I go for my first Bamboo Tattoo.
