We've been at the Lotus hotel for Three nights now it's a lot closer to the beach and shops ,and Bangla Road.Its a really nice hotel,clean with freindly staff,only downfall is that none of the tv's work on the 5th floor.Weve hired a motorbike from reception (250 baht a day).We drove up to see the big Buddha it was a fair distance up some of the steepest hills I've ever seen,yet well worth a visit even though it's still not finished.So after a lot off driving arou...

Arrived today in Phuket around 7/30 am ,after a10 hour bus journey with sleeper chairs . They was quite uncomfortable but still managed to sleep,at least the bus stops so you can get food etc.Towards the end of the journey we was woken by the bus hostess with a face wipe and fresh coffee(nice touch).We arrived at our hotel (at home hotel £22 a night ).Wich by our surprise let us check in there and then 6 hours early with no extra charge.The hotel is really nice ...
