Arrived in Bangkok today after 2 hour bus journey 180 baht.Then after 45 mins in a Tuk Tuk finally found the hotel (Heritage Hotel) across the road from I Recidence Hotel.The hotel has a really nice rooftop pool,the rooms are big with floor to ceilings windows but all seems bit dated.Its next to Chong Nonsi sky train so it's real easy to get around Bangok.However there's protests all around Bangkok so nearly everything has closed down.Left hotel at 7 pm to go to ...

Had my tattoo tonight done by bamboo.Was amazing even though I was very typsey, it didn't hurt a bit and the result was fab,the girl behind the bar have me a free shot!!! It's a fab bar with a tattoo studio and very chilled out.We moved hotels two doors up just basic with no pool but only cost £16 a night no breakfast, (baan palm thong hotel) facing the night market with its wonderfull food stalls ranging from 10-20 baht for fish , chicken,pork,papaya salad ect....

Arrived at our hotel after paying 450 baht each from tour company , we then realised if we'd gone to the bus station ourselfs we would have only paid 80 baht each (less than £2 instead of £9 each) The hotel is called Motive hotel and it's fantastic ,fab rooms with pool across from the night market where the food is cheaper than I've ever seen 10-20 baht for chicken or pork or fish on a stick we ate the lot and it's absolutely fantastic.Khao Lak was hit real bad...

We've been at the Lotus hotel for Three nights now it's a lot closer to the beach and shops ,and Bangla Road.Its a really nice hotel,clean with freindly staff,only downfall is that none of the tv's work on the 5th floor.Weve hired a motorbike from reception (250 baht a day).We drove up to see the big Buddha it was a fair distance up some of the steepest hills I've ever seen,yet well worth a visit even though it's still not finished.So after a lot off driving arou...
