Well its been a wee while since we updated so here's the low down!

We have now left Deception Bay and have moved into our very own apartment! We decided to come back into Brisbane last saturday to meet up with Carol and Shaun again and stay in the hostel. However, we couldn't all get into the same room so we had to all move to another hostel which wasn't so good, but we weren't there for very long.

On Sunday Lee and I met up with Nick and Leisha and they took us to Nick's mum's place because ' she has a big back yard' nick told us.....they have 86 acres!! We stayed there all day, had a barbie and had a good catch up with Nick and Leisha. Then we got on the dirt bikes and went on a guided tour of the land. We saw loads of wild kangaroos just wandering around, going about their business. Then Nick's dad taught Lee how to shoot a gun!! Lee was really excited, he shot a hand gun and a shot gun!! On the way home, we stopped off at the lookout point where we seen over the whole city at night, it was amazing.

Then on Monday it was down to the important stuff, so after a McDonalds breakfast it was time to get on the trail of an apartment. We were really lucky and found one on Ann St (which is really central, like staying on Queen st in Edinburgh). We went to view it on Monday afternoon and we got the call on tuesday to say that we could move in asap!! So we have now moved in with Shaun and Carol. We have a 3 month lease, a bedroom each both with ensuite, a spa and sauna on the roof! Its all furnished, its like something out of sex in the city and I am 2 blocks away from Tiffanys !! But most importantly the pub round the corner has Setanta..woohoo!! So now its just a case of finding a job, haha.
