Well after a 5 hour bus ride then a 2 hour wait in the ferry terminal and another half an hour on the ferry we arrived on Magnetic Island. The hostel we were in was totally heaving (we heard all the other hostels on the island were dead) and right on the beach! It was really clean although it was no more than a portacabin we were sleeping in. We didnt do any real sightseeing on the island, mainly because there is nothing much to see!! So we just had a couple of days lying by the pool and luckily we had the weather for it. Lee and Aldo had a BIG night out on the island (still at the hostel) however I retired early as this was a wild affair ;)
