Hello,
We have not had a great day so far... We boarded our sleeper yesterday at 5pm in the pooring rain. Before we had even left the first town the coach had knocked a policeman of his moped!! There was then further delay in the mountains where hundreds of coaches and lorries were trying to pass on very narrow roads. We managed to get a bit of sleep, but not much. Then, at 9am our coach arrived at its final stop, Ahmedabad. This was not where we wanted to go. We wanted to get off several hours earlier at Vadodara, but no one told us that we were passing through the town. Ahmedabad is horrible. So we have decided to leave again tonight by another sleeper coach which should get to Udaipur at about 5am. 36 hours after we left Aurangabad. We are both very tired, hungry and hot and sweaty from carrying our huge bags around this morning. We are now going to go and find some lunch and a stiff drink!

Mum2 Oh dear, we hope you can at least get a good lunch and unwind a bit. It might be worth bribing the driver to stop and wake you up/tell you when he is going through Udaipur i.e. extra money when he does so... Lots of love and thinking of you both xxx
Mum Never mind- all part of the experience! It could be worse-you could have spent 4 days in Guernsey like your brother!!! We won't bother putting Ahmedabad on our holiday destination list then! Hope you are feeling better Olivia. Love to you both xx
Ell Sounds like a bad one guys! I'm sure it'll be better from now on! Though just to compile your misery Simon, there's a new Jack Reacher out so you'll have to wait to read it unfortunately. Me and Mark are sorting Cuba out soon!
