Hi Both
pics are fab....
Well went on the Santa Train on Sunday ( not good when you have been out the nite before) It was so cold, all four of us were well wrapped up.
It was a proper old fashioned steam train and you sat in a cabin with other people, our Spencers face when the train started was so funny ( we have pics). It made a noise (choo choo) and Spencer shouted "Thomas". we were only onit about 15 minutes (which was long enough).
We then went into to see Santa, Spencer only spoke when it was time to go and he said "bye". ( Took his present pretty sharpish tho). They has little activities for the kids to do and we then went to have a cup of tea. The whole thing is run by volunters, how cool is that. I would defo do it again.
got to go... will email you bout my weekend x

Hi Both
Our Simone i cant wait for you to get back to work so i can get distracted from doing my work and email you all the time!!!
You will be pleased to know Spencer is a lot better, he hasnt used the inhaler for two nights in a row.... which is good for both of us- i dont have to beg and bribe him and he doesnt get upset.
He is doing really well with telling us he needs a wee but still hides when he has a poo- it must be a male thing cos he takes a book with him while hiding!!! haha
I am taking him on the Santa Train on Sunday, i think i am more excited than him. Ill let you know how it goes. (Apparently it is the real santa!) me mam and nana are coming along aswel.
And of course there is christmas day to look forward to, all the family in one room around one table..........think ill be hitting the vodka early on christmas morning, at least there will be a chance i will forget all about xmas day!!!!

Just a quick note to thank you both for your hard work in Hong Kong. The parcel arrived really quickly, but funnily enough I haven't had much time to use it yet! Japan sounds really interesting, not to sure I like the idea of no-one speaking any english though. I'd better stick to the med.
Really busy here working late on tuesdays and now open on sundays aswell.
Zack can speak really well now, I now have regular phone conversations with him whilst at work! Em is going to try and get him out of nappies next!!
Jacob is brilliant during the night, but doesn't sleep much in the day, poor Em looks forward to 6'0 clock and bathtime!
Take care Nick,Em,Zack & Jacob xx

Hello you two. You look like you are still having a great time. You look like natural elephant riders, maybe this is a talent that you could continue on your return.
I had a great time in Egypt with Babs, she is really funny, she barters/haggles on everything, I had my hair coloured and cut and she haggled the price down from £70 to £50 at the salon, Jim if you want to take lessons then she is the woman to watch. Cairo was an education especially the traffic.
I am going to try to book the restaurant in Paris this week.
Take care

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAL for tomorrow, hopefully you will get the message in time (doubt it as we know how hard it is for internet time). Hope you are having fun and enjoying the Dahl.

Hi there, (sorry I always start like that, a bit of an in-joke between me and jim (its not even funny)). Anyway it sounds to me like you're probably glad to be going on your trek, I hope the accomodation improves (although I doubt it will just yet). It's amazing to think you've seen so much and so many different cultures.
Not much happening here. Em has nearly finished her chirstmas shopping, and I've hardly anyone to buy for!
Footbal season is going as normal Chelsea, Man U and Arsenal are the teams to beat and liverpool are feeling sorry for themselves as usual. Hopefully an up turn is around the corner, but it will be too late as normal.
Take care love all x
Mum
Hey what's all this about rats and cockroaches sounds as if you hit the big time and lots of Bhuddas. I liked the mumified one guess he found the sunglasses such a help. I like the sound of the slowboat down the river, a far cry from Bangkok. Where is your ruthless streak with the bartering Jim?
We put the clocks back yesterday and it is dark at 5 30pm. We have sorted our Hotel for Paris now and it looks to be near to you all, very exciting. We bombed off to Coppull last week and got the heating going after having to consult the two Daves. It is nice and warm there now. All well and we had another feast of raspberries. I have found all the bits for New Year.
Sally is having a ball on Mount Everest, no news from her for a while. Grandma is coming next weekend for a few days. Been busy today with the little fellas, they are gorgeous. Zack helping Gramp sweep the leaves so I could have a cuddle with Jacob. What does dried rat taste like then? look forward to next installment.
Mr And Mrs Walker
Hey guys, just wanted to post you a message seeing as I'm back at work and not liking it. The wedding went well, Kimmy is now learning what a demanding husband realy is! No, we are both really happy, everything went without a hitch - Kimmy will fill you in more lateron no doubt :-)
Your website looks great, a really good idea, you have been absolutely having a ball it looks like! We're also glad that you've survived Bali, and wish you well in Thailand - is it still under military control? The photos look unreal.
I have decided too that you two are the best english people that I have met, so look after yourselves and if you find a way to do what your doing indefinately, then please let me know! Have fun and catch up later.

We've been regularly reading your news and goggling at the photos
and enjoyed it all, albeit second hand! Before I start my work in the evenings I have a peep at your exploits and sit and dream for a few minutes before crashing back down with the thought of tomorrow's lessons. What a wonderful time you are having, thanks for the post cards too.I have just been looking at the photos of Thailand and see they are dated TODAY- its a funny feeling thinking of you so far away and we can see what you have been doing so quickly.
We are fine here, babysitting Miss Molly tonight. She is such a chatterbox but fell asleep almost before she had snuggled down. It will be half term soon and we are off on our boat trip to France. (sounds a bit mundane compared to....) but it should be good fun.
Well, carry on with the great adventure.Love Dave and Marie x
