We arrived in Vang Vien yesterdạy On our last day in Louang Prebang we visited the Kwang Si Falls which are beautiful, a real tropical oasis. Jim and some of the others went for a swim in the water and jumped off the waterfalls and the trees. It was funny to watch. We also visited a bear sancturary and a tiger which they look after. In the evening we walked up what seemed like a million stairs to Wisunalet to watch the sun set over the Mekọng

Yesterday we caught a local bus, again we are lucky to be alive, the bus driver đid his best not to look at the road in the direction we were travelling, drove on the wrong side of the road for most of the journey, stood up to answer his mobile after trying to find it in his pockets and aimed for every cow on the road!!!! When we arrived in Vang Vien we went for a much needed drink by the river and watched the sun sẹt

Today we visited some lime karsts caves which were lived in during the war. They were really impressivẹ In the afternoon Jim went tubing with some of the others down the Nam Song River and Simone went and lay in a hammock on the edge of the river, read a book and drank some beer. It was so beautiful and relaxing...
