Got into the city centre of Melbourne ok on the train, looking forward to some major cheese on the Neighbours tour. Have had some great easy days in Melbourne, which has been fabulous to re-charge the batteries. Monday last week was a long day as we had to pick up Simon at the airport. It was a day of waiting around and driving! Simon's luggage had also gotten lost at Los Angeles airport where he had to change planes, so at least we didn't have to do a luggage jigsaw in the boot and the backseat! I think it would all have fitted, but I wasn't looking forward to re-arrangin...

Went to Phillip Island with my friend April today, which was really, really nice! She's been before, but in Winter with her family when they came over, so she was looking forward to going again when it wasn't so cold! We went to two main parts of the island - the koala colony, and the penguin parade. We did go to Seal Rocks but couldn't see any seals as they were too far away! Am sweltering in Warragul at the moment, ugh. It's really, really hot. Have any of you read the news? Yes, I am complaining because it's too hot to do anything apart from stay indoors next to a fan and a water tap!! My friends are blaming me for the hot weather (apparently it's very uncommon to have such hot weather in Melbourne) as they think I brought it with me from the desert!!
