Woke up after a jet-lagged night to a beautiful French buffet breakfast. :)
We then took a car to the central market of Hanoi and toured it for over an hour in sweltering heat (and 80% humidity) Yeah, it was HOT! :)
We checked out a little templed and headed to the Hoan Kiem lake, which was lovely.
We then returned to the hotel for a quick shower and afternoon treats at the Club - AMAZING! :)
We later took a cab to the Literature Temple, which was lovely, and after touring it for 45 minutes we took a 30 minute walk through Hanoi's hectic streets to reach St. Joseph's church.
A quick ride back to the hotel, a shower and evening cocktails and small dinner at the hotel, we were stuffed and headed to the Water Puppet Theater, which is a local thingie. It was great - a one hour show.
We walked back to the hotel, took a third (or forth?) shower and headed for the Italian restaurant for a dinner.
Now we're in the Club, lounging around and enjoying the Internet. :)
All in all, a great day! :)))
