Our day started at 8:00AM, had breakfast and said goodbye to Halong.
The limo ride to Hanoi airport was rather uneventful, but the wait in the airport was long and sweaty.
We ended up cramped like sardines in ahordible low cost flight, that got us to Danang.
We then used the hotel's shuttle and arrived at Mercure Danang.
We were immediately taken to the lounge, and the hotel`s new GM came to greet us. Sweet!
We lounged a bit and explored the hotel, which is brand new and located on an island in the river.
unfortunately, the hotel is almost empty, thus rather boring, and some rooms smell of fresh paint, which made us switch rooms (18th to 11th floor).
Dinner at the hotel`s restaurant was ok, not great.
Tomorrow is a day trip to Hoi An and My Son.
