Today we had a quick breakfast and took the hotel car to the airport - a bad ride for over an hour. We then waited at an almost deserted airport to our flight to Male. We boarded the flight and landed in Male after 2 hours. We quickly went through immigration and were then taken to the Conrad loungeto wait for our sea plane. We relaxed and ate and went on a 30-minute flight, which was AMAZING. We landed in the hotel and were taken toour room by our personal host....

This morning, we took the hotel's car and went to Chennai's newly opened domestic airport (it was actually opened today!). :) We then took a one-hour flight to Bangalore, and took our prepaid taxi for a 90-minute drive to our hotel. After an only so-so night sleep (rock hard bed, furniture constantly being moved in the restaurant over our suite), we had a decent breakfast and hired a taxi for 6 hours, to take us around Chennai. Little did we know, that our driver was obviously not local, thus we had to direct him EVERYWHERE. It was so surreal - the two of us, giving our taxi driver directions in downtown Chennai. :) Today was VERY hot (38 degrees) and humid (90%) day,and we sweated like neve...

Last night was rather unbareable. The hotel was holding a party to the local Cricket team and the techno bass noise pounded through our room until 5AM, despite us complaining about it. We had a great day in Jaipur today, despite the 38 degrees blistering heat. We booked a driver for 6 hours and he took us everywhere, which was great, as our hotel was pretty far from all the attractions. We started with the wonderful Jantar Mantar, which is a gigantic observatory (which I first saw in "The Amazing Race").
