After a HORRIBLE delay at Vienna airport - 2 hours in FREEZING temperatures, we're back home - safe and sound - yet sick. <sigh> Thus ends our adventure in beautiful Vienna. It was short and sweet. :)

Well, we started our day early - woke up at 8:00 and managed to get a late check-out at 15:00, plus the ability to return to the Club lounge and have food and Internet until we leave for the airport at 19:00. Today, after accidentally meeting a friend on the train, we went to see Shonbrunn palace, and yeah, it IS as stunning as they say it is. We got the entire 40 room audio tour, the gardens, the maze and the lovely monument on the hill. We then continued to a mall for some choclates. After an OK breakfast at the Club, we started our day by going to Vienna's major attraction, the Stephansdom. It was very impressive and beautifully lit inside. We then continued to see a couple of more churches in the same quarter, and walked towards the Jewish quarter where we visited the Holocaust memorial. After a horrible flight (thank you, Niki), we landed in Vienna and checked-in our hotel at 9:00, which was nice.
