Well, this is a first - both Ami and myself are rather sick just prior to starting our trip. We both have a viral infection in our throats, which should clear out in a couple of days. Still, we're rather nervous as we want to be able to enjoy Budapest to the fullest. Let's hope we get better tomorrow. :) While we're trying to rest, we're getting things ready and we are nearly all packed. :)

Well, we're one week before our planned trip and getting ready to it every day. I'm already brushing my bruised-up Hungarian. We got a cool new camera (which we got for free - yay!), flights and hotel already booked, itinerary planned ahead and a lot of other stuff. Unfortunately, Ami got a severe case of infection in his throat and we hope it heals in a day or two, and that I won't catch anything... . More to come - later this week. :)

After 25000 km, 10 cities and endless adventures - we're back home after a 10.5 hour flight from Beijing to Tel Aviv. :) The flight itself was delayed - we were supposed to fly 21 hours earlier, but El Al could not fill up the plane, so they cancelled the flight entirely. Woke up to another misty morning, with a rather low 19 degrees outside. Had a great last breakfast, got the bill sorted out, confirmed a late check out (the hotel has very kindly extended our check out time to 18:00, which is VERY unusual). Last night, we saw the forcast for today and it said 19 degrees with some rain showers. However, this morning, we woke up into a cloudy Beijing sky, but no rain.
