After a good night sleep in the gorgeous suite, we had a quick breakfast and headed out to town.
We visited the exhibition hall which was OK and then went across the street to visit the modern art museum, which was great.
A quick lunch and we were off to walk the "Philosopher walk", which ended up to be a 5-kilometer stroll by a lovely stream and numerous shrines.
We then returned to the hotel for a shower and rest and continued to visit the stunning Fushima shrine in southern Kyoto.
We finished the day with dinner and some food shopping.
At around 1AM we experienced our first earthquake in Japan. A bit scary, but fun! :-)
