After yet another meh breakfast in the club lounge, we took a bullet train and went to Kyoto, city of temples.
After some 40 minutes, we arrived at the station and took the hotel`s bus to the hotel. We were the only ones on the bus so it felt like a private taxi.
Upon reaching the hotel, we were upgraded to a beautifully decorated designer`s suite. We were lucky enough to be one of the very first guests to have used the suite. Sweet! :-)We then went to see the castle across the street and then continued to see 3 temples, two of which were closing up by the time we got there.
We finished the long and hot day with dinner in a lousy restaurant by the river and a stroll by the river with some shopping.
