We passed by Tongariro national park where a lot of Lord of the Rings was filmed including Mt. Doom. The guys jumped off a waterfall naked where Smeigel in Lord of the Rings catches a fish in a river. Went to River Valley through fields of millions of hills and sheep. Apparently there is 4 sheep to every person in NZ!!!!!!!! The lodge we stayed in was in the valley miles away from anything else and was amazingly scenic. It is situated on the river Rangitieki, a grade 5 river (that's the most dangerous grade of river to go in). The lodge was so cool the dorm was basically a gigantic room with mattresses, so much fun especially as it was just our bus in the room. That night we all had a big feast and got drunk playing more drinking games. A few of us chilled out on a zip wire over the river for the rest of the night.
