Third day went Whakarewarewa (hope I spelled that one right) it's a thermal reserve with loads geysers and bubbling mud, it bloody smelled. On to Waitomo where we went to a waterfall and had to walk in and out through big loads of mud but the waterfall was huge and gorgeous. Everyone fell getting there too - so funny. Second day of the bus got the bus super early and went to smelly Roturua/ Rottenrua before passing through Matamata - you might know it as hobbiton in Lord of the Rings. Anyways Roturua smells like rotten eggs or farts. It's a geothermal area where there's boiling mud pools and so smelly sulphur dioxide gas steaming up wherever you wander. First day of Kiwi Experience bus today we headed from Auckland to Hot water beach where we got to dig a hole near the thermal outlet and soaked in the hole. It was way too fecking hot though.
