Did a different walk today & came across some fledgling fish farms. It looks like the start of the sustainable fish farms that the government has agreed to fund. Unfortunately could not find anyone to ask for more info.
On our way back a car stopped to see if we were lost or needed some help. Chatted for a bit & discovered he was born in Tanzania & that his parents had farmed next to some of R's aunts & uncles. He & his wife run the local horse tours ..... We had spotted the horses a few days ago and commented in what great shape they were.
It appears that here is a distant family connection so hopefully they will come around later to talk more.
New Neighbours arrived this afternoon, a lovely young couple from the Netherlands whom we had drinks with. They hired a 4x4 in Zambia & have driven through Zambia, Malawi & now Mozambique before heading to Johannesburg then home. Very interesting hearing about their impressions.
