3 July - India - Delhi It's our last day today & as our flight is only at 2.30am we have a 6pm check out. The efficient concierge has organised us tickets to the show ' Zangoora' at the Kingdom of Dreams ( which is a bit like movie world ) tonight then off to the airport. http://www.kingdomofdreams.in/zangoora/index.html Today will be packing & banking & a few bits & pieces before heading off on the next leg of the trip.

2 July - India - Delhi We are staying in the La Lit hotel & over the last few days have met various staff members from the General Manger to the housekeepers. The service & concern when I was ill with a car & driver to take R to pharmacy for medication, the lovely gift brought to the room & then the pleasant comments when I reappeared for meals was outstanding. 1 July - India - Delhi We decided on a light day, attending to wifi & laundry before venturing out into the 37 degree heat. After some purchases, some intentional ..... Some spontaneous !! like a carpet we took refuge back at our hotel. The Resturant here does an amazing buffet & hopefully we will be up to doing it justice tonight.

29/30 June - India - Delhi Prior to departure we had decided to treat ourselves to a nice hotel in Delhi ..... So we moved across here on the Saturday morning & settled in... Did a little bit of market shopping and just relaxed & enjoyed the amenities. Delhi is a huge city, the traffic moves efficiently & so far no cows or buffalo seen walking the streets. 28 June - India - Delhi Our day starts with a trip to the Red Fort...one of the interesting points is the mix of Hindu & Muslim architecture. It's amazing in structure & colour. It is built out of red sandstone & is very beautiful. The palace parts were very beautiful as well, marble inlaid with stones of many different colours. The heat was building so back to the hotel where some of us had elected to go to a Bollywood movie - (air conditioning...
