Another day, another 10am checkout. Grr.
We hauled our weary bodies and luggage out of the room, leaving our bags with the bridesmaids and groomsmen, who were staying on an extra night.
Sarah and Martin were hosting a BBQ at their plush apartment, with Pete in charge at the grill. Dean tried Pimms for the first time and was impressed - even more as the day went on because he could never finish a glass before it was topped up!
We then hauled our cases in the late afternoon sun on to the packed local bus to the ferry terminal and then from the other side of the ferry to our nearby hotel in Auckland.
We finally got to see Black Swan at the enormous cinema at SkyCITY in Auckland - good film, that we'd recommend if you haven't seen it.
