Dean made it to the welcome meeting, while Julie had a lie-in. The welcome meeting was a waste of time though - no information given, the free breakfast was about worthless and the raffle to win a free excursion didn't happen. Still at least it had stopped raining and looked like it was going to be a lovely, sunny day.

We drove about 10 miles up the coast to Napili Bay because one of the excisions saleswomen we spoke to yesterday told us that there were turtles there. Sure enough we saw about five of them as close as about 10 feet from the beach, but they doggedly kept to the rocky areas and the crashing waves kept us from swimming with them.

Back in Lahaina, we booked excursions for tomorrow and rented a DVD from a RedBox in the nearby supermarket for $1 for the night. Seems like a really good idea - hope it comes to the UK soon!
