He says: It's been well documented on this blog that my eating habits resemble a 10-year-old child. Serve me chicken fingers, fries and a milkshake and I couldn't be happier. Enter Japan - home to culinary delights such as thick beef tongue and we have a problem. However, who would have thought I'd have to travel all the way to Tokyo for the world's greatest burger? But it turns out that's exactly what I had to do to enjoy the greatness that is Freshness Burger - a chain restaurant with over 200 locations around Asia.
I enjoyed two burgers and some primo onion rings yesterday. I will definitely be going back for more.
Yesterday was definitely the muggiest day so far. Shauna and I trekked around the Shibuya and famed Harijuku districts, taking in the sights and sounds while sweating through both. Semi-interesting fact: Many people here do not wear deodorant, a trend that needs to change.
We also checked out Yoyogi Park and a shrine to a fallen emperor (Meiji-Jingu).
My body is still adjusting to the time difference from home, but it's nothing a few more trips to Freshness Burger can't fix.
