She says: You'll all undoubtedly be impressed with Matt's adventuresome eating thus far. Last night, we had our first dinner at a Tokyo Burger King. This morning, he chose the Denny's across from our hotel. We are currently waiting for his second plate of French toast.

Because Tokyo was our first stop for last year's S & M Amazing Race, we actually kind of knew what to expect. Instead of taking the slowest train and getting hopelessly lost, we took a ridiculously efficient one and got to our hotel in record time. I was also greeted with a pleasant complimentary bum wash in the airport bathroom. Welcome to Japan!

Our hotel (Shibuya Tobu) is adorable, with umbrella locks at the entrances and the most polite staff of all time. It's also in a perfect location, and allowed even our exhausted bodies to explore the surrounds without using up too much energy.
