In Munich right now, and I think that I like it already, even though I only got here last night. It is everything that it is supposed to be. I even saw a store that sold lederhosen (sp?). I guess that someone has to sell them. I'm gonna check out a couple of the sights here, like Dachau, before I head out. I want to stay here for two or three days before moving on to northern Germany and Poland. Had a great time in the Austrian mountains. I stayed at a hostel that was pretty much deserted, so that kinda sucked, but what are you going to do? Went snowshoeing two days in a row and saw some of the most spectacular avalanches ever. I was safe on the other side of the valley, so I had a great vantage point. I have never seen anything on that scale before. From the mountains I went to Salzburg, but passed up the Sound of Music tours that they flaunt. It is a really nice town, but you cannot stay there too long without getting rather bored. They should call it Pleasentville or Niceburg or something.
