Ouch my feet hurt. Big mistake, put the wrong shoes on. Brilliant day, clear blue sky all day hot sun and a nice cooling breeze. We went up the Eureka Building (all 88 floors in 37 seconds) the views were stunning - then we paid the extra and went out on "the edge". This is a glass cube that slides out of the building, it was great. Then we read the warnings. Heart problems, blood pressure, vertigo, claustrophobia etc. we decided Pete had all or most of these, but he went anyway and is still with us intact. The top of this building is coated in 24carat gold on glass and looks very impressive. We walked along the river and found somewhere for lunch then found time for a bit of window shopping-too pricey to buy much. They run a free tram in a circuit round the city so we hopped on that to go to the Victoria Market but when we got there it was closed ( the only day of the week) walking back to the hotel we found a large golf shop, well it would have been rude to just walk past. I have never seen so many bright bizarre patterned trousers in my life. Mr. Tango man at Tapton would have loved it! Don't worry folks we didn't purchase anything.
