Today we have to leave this idyllic place and continue our journey south. We are travelling 3 hours to Noosaville where will will stay for 3 nights with Bill and Sue who we met in Holland last year on our cycling trip.
We woke up to an absolutely beautiful day and decided not to leave until after lunch. We spent the morning on the beach and even went in the sea for a swim it was fantastic with a temperature of about 30 degrees. We packed up and took the car down the road and had a sandwich.
Eventually we got on the road, but Louise had told us to stop off en route and taste the ice cream at a special place. Well could Pete resist? The experience was well worth stopping for. Gourmet Ice Cream it was yummy (another 2" on the hips)
We arrived in Noosa at 5 o'clock and found Bill and Sues house.
We drank plenty of wine and beer and Bill cooked us a very tasty BBQ. Went to bed reasonably early as we have to be up in the morning at 5.30am
