Have been in Wanaka for 2 days, the rain they predicted can late on Tuesday evening and lasted most of the night.We seem to have finally stopped the tent leaking thanks to some, or rather a lot of duct tape.On Tuesday we travelled around 50km to do a walk to Rob Roy's Glacier, it was a 10km walk, it was a nice walk but very windy at the start and it started to rain about half way through the walk up so although we could see the glacier it was a bit misty.By the time we got back to the car we were soaking, so after driving back to campsite, we had a nice hot shower then went into the site spa and sauna which was really good.

Its Wednesday today (01/02/12), we did a more local walk which overlooks many of the lakes nearby.It's really hot today so glad we did the walk early as it would have been harder in the heat.May stay another day in Wanaka as the weather is really good and there are more walks we can do.
