Woke up slightly with a bad head, me and Koen were the last ones standing didn't get back till gone 3 went to the Why Not? bar which was a bit of a dive. Had breakfast which was a big buffet and then decided on just one thing - beach! Had a beer by the pool at 10am, this is holiday mode after all the travelling we have done staying here at Sunflower hostel for 5 days. Head into the city centre with rented bikes, went to the city centre and went to a suit shop Willem had been recommended by. Awesome staff in there they were great and persistent with us as we were really undecided about which colour, material etc to buy. I got recommended by my partners in crime in this stuff Luc and Lauren to go for navy blue so found a decent colour and suit and paid 200,000 d deposit. The suit is 3 million altogether so around £75! Will be done tomorrow for fitting and then finally to make sure everything was good the day after we would have them. After this we bought a football and went straight to the beach to make the most of the last part of the afternoon at this point it was around 4pm. Had some dinner in this amazing restaurant it was very pricey but the food was amazing. Jessie and Boyan joined us later on the same table. Anja, Willem and Emma went back to the hostel as didn't feel like going out so me, Bas, Guus, Boyan and Jessie made our way into town, started at Tiger Tiger, had copious amounts of balloons between us and then headed to the Why Not? bar again. Started putting my own tunes in there shock and me, Boyan and Jessie were just hammering the balloons back! A girl called Irene who was with Sanne joined us who Jessie and Boyan met on their travels. Irene was notable as she had the MDMA chemical sign tattoo on her upper leg! She loves to party I think :) Throat will be sore in the morning with these balloons going back! Sanne was with us also Irene was f***ed in this bar. When we had to leave which was around 2, a guy was outside who we were chatting too about where to go next and what to do when a Vietnamese local somehow stole 500,000 d out of his hand and replaced it with a 20,000 d note. All happened so quickly and a little lesson on how pro these scammers are in Vietnam. He was livid, so was Boyan so was arguing with the locals trying to get the guy back who stole the money. Happened so quickly we just had to leave it as there was nothing we could do. Went back to the hostel, Sanne and I were left as he was looking after Irene who was all over the place by this point at around half 4 in the morning. Boyan and Jessie went to bed and I followed shortly after, not a nice way to end the evening but a big lesson in how to keep everything on you as something can disappear in a matter of seconds here in Vietnam!
