We sorted yesterday our trip to Hoi An on bikes that were rented and we would leave in Hoi An when we get there. This was called a 'Top Gear' challenge it was roughly 170km to get from Hue to Hoi An so we left at 9am from the hostel had some breakfast first, packed our stuff up and me, Willem, Bas, Guus, Boyan and Jolanda were riding. Stopped off at a random beach which was lush! A random kid bless him with special needs came up to us literally ran and was fascinated with Jolanda which freaked her out a bit! Harmless though and he just loved being around us with his tunes blaring on his mp3 player. Hit the road and following the route the guy at the hostel gave us went to the stop she recommended one of them called Elephant Springs we could swim at so got some lunch then went there. Small fee to get in and then walked to the area we could swim which was cool the sun was boiling so was good to cool down. Left there then headed on around 30-40km before we reached Da Nang it was like Pai and North Vietnam where constantly stopping every few metres to get pictures of the views. Amazing views and scenery! We were loving it such a good ride, got to Da Nang and well, it wouldn't be like us for something not to go wrong with our bikes and Sod's law, it was Guus again! Got a flat tyre but wasn't too much of a problem to sort so went through the crazy roads of Da Nang very touristy here but looked really nice. Never mind, we were all buzzing to get to Hoi An so about 45 minutes later we had finally got to Hoi An! Dropped the bikes off and picked our luggage up which had been dropped from somehow from Hue and walked to our hostel called Sunflower. Had a dorm to start with for all of us but would be in a private room tomorrow. Jessie and Boyan had booked before into another hostel but would join us in 2 days time at Sunflower to stay, Anja would be coming to Hoi An tomorrow. Jessie got the bus to Hoi An with Koen and Esther. So put our stuff down and although feeling pretty tired went out for some dinner and few drinks. Seriously busy area Hoi An so we went to Tiger Tiger for some buckets and drinks and was ok to be fair we were all having a good laugh even though music was shocking! Shut at 12 so I found a club still open but it was crap as well so with only me and Koen still out as everyone went back we went back to and would wait for the hangover in the morning!
