Once we were back in Brisbane, Shane cooked a really tasty meal as a small way of saying thanks to Ivy, Heather and Bob for their hospitality and generosity while we were there. We really did have a great time having a home and some friendly faces for a week after all the time away.

After that it was pretty much just a matter of driving down to Sydney over the next couple of days to get the van back. We stopped off in Byron Bay which is a hippie surfer's paradise! So it was just driving and taking in scenery and having our last bonfire BBQ. Now it's just our last few days in Sydney to check out a few sights that we didn't get around to last time!

So during our last few days in Sydney we did the lovely Bondi to Coogee walk, we strolled around Paddys Market and Darling Harbour....and we treated ourselves to a meal at a 2 hat restaurant, Four in Hand, owned by an Irish chef. It was a pretty good meal, not the standard we had been used to for the last few months!!! It was a real treat, although we still did it a bit backpacker, sharing a starter and desert!!
