So finally got both my passport and visa 2day! WOOP WOOP! so we are leaving 4 bangkok tomorrow and so are very VERY happy. Managed to get my passport on monday only to find that the one guy at the immigration department that can sign off my exit visa wasn't going to be there til today-put a major downer on the situation because it meant we lost ANOTHER few days but all is well now and are just excited to leave. On friday after being messed around yet again, we still have no passport and as the embassy shut at 12 on the friday (s***ty embassy!!!!) we decided to go to Kampot for the weekend. The bus journey was by far the bumpiest we've experienced so far and we also saw our first bike accident.
